        A bedtime routine should be established at this age. It should include tooth
        brushing with a pea size amount of toothpaste, reading together, reciting rhymes
        or jingles or other quiet activities.
        This is an important time for language development. Speaking clearly and
        simply with correct words and grammar is necessary. Important words should
        be repeated. Narrating daily activities enriches your child's vocabulary.
        Many parents ask about toilet training at this age. Please see Section Vi-E.
